.The closest the British comedy scene has to a cult hero..."
"...Catch him before Hollywood does..."
"...Lee remains one of the most razor-sharp minds in the comedy industry..."

These are positive reviews I'm sure you'll agree.   Unfortunately they are reviews of the comedian Stewart Lee rather than reviews of the comedian Lee Kyle.   This is partly because I haven't done any gigs yet...BUT THIS IS ABOUT TO CHANGE!

You see, I am booked for 3 gigs in November and December, so maybe soon I shall garner similarly positive reviews.   It seems more likely that I'll garner less positive reviews and a great deal more likely again that I'll receive no reviews at all.

Anyway, since I've sent you this email, you know me, either well or just a little bit so you'll know whether you think I have the potential to be funny or not.   If you think I might be, I'm doing ten minute spots at the following places:

The Laughing Penguin
16th November, Bridge Hotel, Newcastle
£3 - 8pm

Long Live Comedy
24th November & 15th December, Dog & Parrot, Newcastle
£2 - 9pm

I hope some of you are interested, but I won't fall out with any of you who aren't (Except Dodge, Binney and Blade).   I can't promise that I'll be great, since I'm new to this, but I can promise to be needlessly sweary and controversial.

If you do come, bear this in mind: I don't want constructive criticism, I want to be told that I'm great regardless of what you actually thought.   DON'T do it sarcastically.
